We took part in the event "New Challenges in Sustainable Mobility" at the Cantabria Chamber of Commerce, where our colleague Paz Lasarte presented our successful case study alongside our exceptional collaborator Clara Aja (Manager at Aja Consultoría).
Starting December 5th of this year, new legislation will require companies with more than 200 employees to implement a Sustainable Mobility Plan. Due to our workforce size, Transportes Lasarte is not legally required to do so... but we anticipated the future and implemented ours two years ago! Sustainability, efficiency, and a real commitment to our environment.
It was a pleasure to share our case study with all the attendees, just as it was to hear Christian Manrique (Head of the Infrastructure Area at the Santander Port Authority) present theirs. Silvia Prellezo (Manager at Prellezo de la Riva Consultores) opened the round of presentations to discuss the regulatory framework. The session was introduced by Llanos San Miguel (Head of Sustainability at the Cantabria Chamber of Commerce) and Isabel Gómez-Barreda (City Councilor for Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Business Development at the Santander City Council).
