In the last quarter of 2023, the Dakhla project was implemented. This project consists of the installation of 12 ENVISION wind turbines. This is the first project of the Chinese multinational in Morocco.
This project marks important milestones. The blade of more than 80 meters is a record length for a wind project in Morocco. Likewise, the road transport convoy surpassed all records, sometimes reaching a kilometer in length. LLW made available more than twenty vehicles to the project to meet the client's needs regarding ship scheduling and wind farm deliveries.
In addition to the usual handling of wind components in the port, LLW incorporated the management of customs clearance of wind turbines from China into this project.
Our extensive experience allows us to successfully undertake comprehensive projects, which gives us an important role in the development of Green Energies in Morocco. With the completion of this project, LLW is proud to have exceeded 500 wind turbines transported in the Maghreb country to the satisfaction of its customers.
